Mail Force gives up to £4 million to co-fund 500,000 food boxes with the Embassy of Ukraine

Mail Force is happy to announce a grant of up to £4 million to co-fund 500,000 food boxes with the Embassy of Ukraine.

Led by the Embassy of Ukraine, coordinated by the CBI and backed by Mail Force, food boxes of over 10,000 calories designed to feed one person for one week are being packed by Oakland in the East Midlands. They are driven across Europe to a warehouse in Poland and then put on trains to Ukraine where they will feed those at risk of starvation – many of whom are internally displaced, hiding in the basements of bombed out apartment blocks.

With the support of The Mail on Sunday, Daily Mail and MailOnline, donations from their readers have made this the fastest newspaper backed fundraiser in world history enabling Mail Force to support programmes as important as this.

We would like to thank all donors to the Mail Force Ukraine Appeal for their generosity and for helping get food to displaced people at risk of starvation in Ukraine.
